-pg52- Tale #47 Record II -pg53- Kokone The record jacket had "A-2" written on it in ball-point pen. Inside were two of the old-fashioned needle played records. -pg54- Kokone There was nothing about the contents of the recording on the jacket. Near as I could tell, there was nothing that gave the impression of being a manufacturer's label. On the back cover, "From M1 to M4" had been stamped.......I could only guess what that might mean. ......... ........... -pg55- Kokone I thought I had but a slim chance, but... A player... Is there a player? -pg56- Kokone Oh. Man Ah. Kokone A-are you the manager? Man Eh? Ah.......no, not in so many words... Kokone I'd really like to borrow this and listen to it! Man Eh... Uh, sorry... But, you can't take anything out from here. -pg57- Man Mm...and I don't think there are any players left around anymore. Sorry. Kokone Oh. I see. Man ..... Unless you have a player? Kokone No... It didn't even occur to me. -pg58- Man Mm-hmm.... I did listen to it once, a long time ago... Kokone Wha... What was on it? Man Mm!? Nothing...just some stupid music. Put me to sleep. Kokone ......... Oh.... I see..... Music. -pg59- Man Mm, I mean, with an amp and a needle, it really sounded weird. Dunno where you'd find 'em now. Good luck findin' a player! Please come again! Kokone Sure thing. Man What a fuss over nothing. Crazy people.... -pg60- Kokone Somehow, I expected this. I felt like that A2 record might somehow be connected to A-7s like me. -pg61- Kokone But maybe A-something doesn't always mean robots. Maybe something with music too.... -pg62- Kokone It may have been just my imagination... But just maybe... There is music flowing in my blood. -pg64- Kokone I don't know. But I'll look for an answer until I do. Tale #47: Closing
